Use ad-adware 2007 with Spy-Bot Seach & Destroy, along side Avast 4 Home.

AVG gets my vote! For one it's free, and according to PC World it updates more often than anyother virus programs and most importantly it gets my nod because it saved me from an awful virus that Mcaffee nor Norton could remove. Made a believer of me! (Also uses little mem/cpu):D

My ISP offered me Mcaffee, which made Windows take ten minutes to start up.

I said, nuts to that, and am now happily running Avast. I've been using avast for a little less than 2 years now :).
