So after been freaking mad this evening on windows update. First of all i am sick and tired of its auto update crap when i work on my pc, causes slow downs. So today i got into task manager and force fully shut down that updater process. So the slow stopped and pc ran fine.
For those of interest, here is what happens after shutdown. if you dont want to know, then just continiud lower down.
So after finnishing work i shut it down, but it began to update saying waiting for windows to be prepared alright, but nothing happened just sat that and no more happens (it dit not freeze, that marker still turning in a circle) for an hour or so. Got tired of waiting so forcefully shut down my pc. latter turned it on again and after boot the same came and no more happens. force that process to close clearly whas a bad idea. well i got in to windows repair with my boot DVD, but it cut not repair windows and system restore cut either be found. So I had to kill the install (format c) and Lesson learned not to force closing that process.
So to the topic. Is there a hitten way to permanently disable this auto update crap like i cut in wndows 7. I am sick and tired of not can desice my self when it shall update like when I shut it down and not doing it by it self while I am working on my pc?
