Any problems with this build?

Going to ask for one last check by the board on this build that I have been working on for the last week or so. Did a little tweaking here and there in an effort to get the total back down close to $900 and I think this is as good as I'm going to get without sacrificing something I shouldn't.

I would get DDR3-1600 or DDR3-1866. Other than that the build looks good.

Keep in mind that Windows 7 64 Home Prem is limited to 16 gb ram

It is my understanding that only a benchmarking program could discern the difference between 1333 and 1866? Or a multi thread crunching operation which I dont do. I originally had a lot faster memory specd but earlier comments on a prior thread seemed to indicate that I was never going to realise anything from it and should spend the money elsewhere.

I just don't agree that 1333 has the best price/performance ratio. The next processors from intel will support 1600+ from the box so....I am not saying it would make a huge difference, but I would invest at least in 1600.

The 1333 would be your bottleneck. So your not going to overclock? So why get the K CPU and the Hyper212

I went with the K because even though I am not going to OC right away I will likely do so at some point. The price differential between the locked and unlocked 3570 is only 5 bucks so that was pretty much a no brainer. I obviously don't totally understand what I am doing here but was going on some earlier advice, and some websearch. Thats exactly why I reposted my list, to get some last opinions before I start ordering. For the price differential I'll just reset the memory selection and if I can tell the difference great, if not it didn't cost me anything.

Nevermind - its updated now! Wow what a great deal. Looks like I will return the 3330 if I can pick this up for the same damn price.

I would double check microcenter for a bundle on the CPU and motherboard. You get the CPU for whatever the sale price is in addition to $50 off a motherboard.

I did just that, got the Z77 Extreme 4 for $84.99
