Mine is the 4400Mhz kits what are your base clock/XMP? But theres no one setting fits all - even with the same memory kit - between the variables cpu, memory and motherboard etc there can be a huge variation - but have been able to do 1900MHz CL14 on several setups with the 4400 and 4000 kits with samsung B-die. The sub timings will differ bu trial and error is the way :) but do create a bios setting file so you dont have to start from the top every time. I have a permanent usb stick in my system for the same reason - thats also nice for bios updates.

@DV8tion all of the subs will be up to you to figure out for your particular kit, Patriot B-die in particular seem to be all over the board, every sample is different. I've had their 4000CL19, their 4133CL19, and two 4400CL19 kits and the differences are wild

the subs you want will depend a lot on the VDIMM you're willing to run. @jesdals runs a tight setup at 3800CL14 but also runs basically over 1.6V (Gigabyte minimum 0.03V overvolt on ever board). Mine 14-14-14 costs me 1.55V but if I relax tRFC and 4/6/16/4/12/12 and 14-15-15 I can come down to 1.5V, and 15-15-15 is only 1.42V.

Zentimings for checking timings, TM5 for testing, and the memtesthelper guide if you're just starting out:

Totally agree and should add that I use an active cooler on my memory - but any fan will do - but proberly a good idea going above 1.5 volt

I appreciate the help fellas. The memory controller is a pain to deal with for me, it just behaves in ways I'd never expect.
It doesn't help that ASUS has their own names for things.
I've always had good luck with b-die memory, I admit I try to avoid the trash bins. The stuff always tightens up well and takes to voltage like a fish to water.
When I get back to the new PC I'll post some screenies of the "final" result.

Y'all have been awesome !! here's where my 4x8Gb is right now. I'll get into the 97% tonight....well I hope I will.
BTW with 4 dimms the voltages are VERY strange on AMD. 1.55v helps exactly ZERO, 1.5 helps a little. Bassackwards I know.
