I just installed the latest 16.12.2 AMD driver and started using Readeon ReLive. While it's miles better than Raptr, I'm finding a few quirks, so I'd like to compare notes with any of you whom have tried it.

1. I can never tell if my attempt to save an Instant Replay is successful. The hotkey for it seems hit and miss. I have more luck enabling the toolbar and actually clicking on it. However last time it saved a 20 min segment, I didn't even see the text in the upper right corner indicating it was saved.

2. I usually use VirtualDub to edit and compress my files, but I had to install a Quicktime plugin for it to even be able to open ReLive files, and now VDub's hotkeys are going haywire ("Dub in progress" when hitting Enter, which used to start the video).

3. The onscreen mode indicator is not invisible to recording like the Fraps FPS counter. You have to completely disable it to keep it from showing up in your video. I assume the same goes for the manual recording indicator, which would make it hard to know it you're recording or not.

4. I don't like that Wattman and Chill are only compatible with the RX 400 series GPUs. This is a minor nitpick, I know.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great tool, and comparable to ShadowPlay in most regards. I was just hoping any of you whom have used it can shed some light on mainly the first two points. I don't yet feel like I can trust it to always record the set time for Instant Replay, and it doesn't always even indicate it has when it does. I'd also like to know what editors you're using with this tool. I like VDub because it's fairly fast, and I don't usually add effects anyway.

Next I'll be attempting a 15Mb quality setting, to see if it looks the same quality as 50MB, compressed afterward with 10,000 bitrate vfw (should be about same file size). I basically want to speed up the process, especially since my ISP upload speed is less than 1Mb.

Wattman and Chill are for more than just 400 series, anything from the R7 260 and up get Wattman( tho not with all the functions the 400s get) I'm sure Chill is no different. I have it available on my Fury.

Well, VirtualDub is open source and was last updated in 2014, so technically that would be 2014, not 2016.

Not sure why AMD chose the codec Quicktime uses, I've yet to see a codec detection tool that even recognizes what codec ReLive uses (tried AVICodec and GSpot so far). Speed and image quality wise though, it's pretty good.

I was mainly trying to get a consensus of whether people are getting the same quirkiness with saving replays I mentioned (and how they work around it), and what they're using to edit with. So please keep responses on point if you will. ;)

Just noticed while watching a video in Media Player Classic - Home Cinema, the seek bar is not visible in fullscreen mode unless I turn ReLive off.
