I wonder also what's the hold up on the ASUS equipment (Ignoring samples of HD5870 above). I've seen near all other sell their GPUs out, but have yet to see a single ASUS board sold/delivered. Even their website only lists the product on 'global', but well that's pretty much update question and ASUS FTP is usually much faster than stuff on their website.

Just thinking is there an problem of some kind on these after all or something, but well if it's a newer/later patch/BIOS applied on delivered final all the better to me. Considering these coming it seems a lot slower than the others.

there bios's seem to have have higher limits in CCC. standard 5850 is 825 max core in ccc and we need something in the 1000 range.

Well, if it's same quality as their motherboard softwares. I'd say that's a minus..

Hmm, where do you get this info? Since I've been digging every website for this information. As basically All the earlier cards has some odd idiotic throttling down by ATI by how much the card heats up. I can almost range product lines where they stop working on 60c.

They have higher OC limit at ati overdrive/CCC ,since all 5850/5870s are reference boards with different stickers you can flash your 5850/5870 with asus bios and get higher gpu clocks with ati overdrive/CCC
Why is the asus card so special? :)

Hell, as far I checked newegg etc etc it ain't out anywhere while all the other models are. HIS, Sapphire, Gigabyte (just came up), Diamond, MSI.. Every single other model seems to good, lol.

-edit-

Atm, I'm thinking well checked some RBE 1.22 and for some odd reason started reading 'Helps' on program which said something like 'Manufacturers has to prove the BIOS with ATI which ATI approves or not.' made me think since ASUS was generally only one with higher clock limits. Wonder, if this is the cause they delayed the ASUS side in the first place and so it would of have to been push date forward to get it on market.
