anyone recommend stylish cpu fans?

im looking for a pair of 120mm fans to go on the side of my xigmatek aegir. preferably black/red, obviously 4 pin (so I can either add splitter or combine sockets) not too fussed about LEDs. don't want to spend more than £10-15 each really.

any recommendations?

There are loads of adaptors out there for basically everything you could want.
If you want more choice however, I'd suggest you take a look here!

Edit: it has filters for basically everything, and it should have most english shops indexed.

oh while I got your attention what kind of voltage you got set on that 7950? and what oc software? msi AB wont let me go beyond 1100/1575 on the slider.

and anyone else input on fans is also appreciated.....(to stay on subject)

I use MSI Afterburner and well, usually i just run at stock clocks, at 0.937V so it hardly gets any hotter than multi-monitor idle(which also has higher voltages, kinda idiotic).

For the overclock I use 1.250V, but thats only to compensate for the big voltage drop my card has. During heavy load the voltage will regularly drop by close to 0,1V, resulting in an effective voltage thats closer to 1.15V than 1.25V. I got quite lucky with this chip I guess; the cooler is quite shitty(Pic of the same design my card uses), and it still clocks quite well.

Edit: Iirc, you can edit the MSI AB config file in order to "unlock" the sliders. A simple google should get you the instructions

Edit2: If you plan on heavily overclocking your card, the most easy thing to do is just put the voltage at 1.250V, and see which clocks you can reach. Most reviews that mention voltage/clock scaling with tahiti chips show that going higher than roughly 1.25V doesnt gain you as much clock speed potential compared to powerdraw/heat.

these chips certainly do overclock well! these asus boards cool the hell out of the gpu and vrms! unlocked the sliders, will do some testing tomorrow.

They indeed do, its great to be able to clock the chip close to 50% higher than stock. Fan looks solid
