2009 I bought an OCZ 700w PSU (from newegg). This last week it finally died. I couldnt tell you the actual uptime but I know its well over 7 years since I basically let all my PCs run 24/7 regardless of crunching, folding, or mining. I have thanked the PSU gods that its failure did not damage anything else inside the PC. It just died with little fanfare, not even a puff of smoke or that oh so beautiful odor that ruins your sense of smell for several days. No visual notifications whatsoever. Fluke stepped in and told me it lost all circulation (0.42 volts) even with oral stimulation.
Oh well, 7 of 9 years is a good run for a failed company. I have heard tons of bad stories about OCZ as a brand, very few good ones, got any you want to share?
