I got hold of a used. It has a 3cm/1,5cm crack like on a mobile phone on the upper left corner, But the front isn't so bad. The display shows the same bad picture even without VGA or HDMI. Is there anything i can do about it.

Not worth the hassle,if you can get another with known good screen but it would have to be cheap to be even worth while.

Looks like ribbons contact to me but that's just a guess, be better of trying to sell it cheap.

Ribbons contact? I guess a factory reset can't fix this? I can't choice the options because the left part of the screen menu can't be seen. It is only a little damage on the upper left corner. I take a photo. The damage is smaller can the picture shows. 1.18110236 inches

The ribbons concact to the motherboard. Do you know how it looks to this screen? https://technogroup.shop/en-us/prod...-wz1951-ribbon-cable-for-aoc-c32g1-model-32g1 is this the one? I took it apart and one cable is to the front buttons. the others seems to be hidden. I saw one big with many small cables.

Maybe i can buy the same and have this as spare parts if something wrong happens to the new. I can't fix it myself? I am curious how it can have gone this bad when it only is a little screen damage on the front. It isn't any damage on the plastic so i wonder if it can have fell.

This made me laugh out loud irl.

The damage is actually bigger than you are saying.
Looking at the entire image you posted, the MASSIVE CRACK extending from the bottom of the screen up to about the 80% mark indicates liquid crystal damage from the blotchy black line, which is probably a hairline crack, to the thick boy dead pixel region where the screen has deformed. I bet if you were to risk cutting your finger, you could feel the crack in that area. The only salvageable items from this are internal wires/flat flex cables, probably the main control board, and the power supply board. The panel itself is trash.

Cost of getting the required items would make it not worth while, ribbons are very fragile and takes a skilled hand to deal with such when it comes to soldering ribbons to circuit boards, but whats the point if the screen is cracked anyways.

If you really want to fix it your going to need to buy a new screen at the very least.

The screen is most likely going cost more than it;s worth,i guess you could buy the same model and maybe ( HAHA ) one day you have spare parts but other wise.

When i was replacing parts on my LG finding ones with broken screens is very easy and the other parts can be found cheap, the screens the most expensive part typically.

Needs another bad laptop where the screen is ok, its known as taking 2 bad units and making 1 good unit.

The strange thing is that the big crack line that is visible on the image is not on the screen i have felt with my fingers severall times. I think it is a big line that goes from the top and down.

You maybe had right, it is no things that stuck on the finger on the screen but i see a crack from the inside. The crack must be on the inside.

What are you expecting from this? The best I can see is the things I mentioned before. If you were to get a good panel then you would probably have a nice monitor, but with the internal damage to the screen, this is the best you can get.

I first thought it was the little damage on the upper left. On mobiles the screen can work with damages bigger. But there maybe is a bigger crack inside the screen

I can say with 100% certainty the screen has at least 3 cracks. I've lined them in red. If you were to delaminate the panel, without further damaging it, you would see these four sections come apart. The right-most crack is still mostly intact, electrical signals are crossing the boundary even though the fracture is big enough to compress the crystals adjacent to it. The crack in the middle is blocking all signals through it though, that's why the bottom three quarters is interleaved, only the right half of the panel signals are getting through to the pixels. The cyan, magenta, and yellow lines are shorted tracks at the major crack.
