Hi everyone, i hope everyone healthy.

I want best picture quality between these 3 monitor. My usage is coding, movies, a little bit gaming. Picture quality and colors are most important thing.
Please dont recommend different monitor because alternatives not exist in my country.

AOC Q3279VWFD8:

2K
IPS Panel ( 8Bit + FRC )
%84 Adobe RGB, %98 sRGB
AMD FreeSync
75Hz

Samsung U32J590:

4K
MVA Panel (True 10Bit)
%88 Adobe RGB, %100 sRGB
AMD FreeSync
60Hz

Philips 328B6QJEB:
2K
IPS Panel ( 8Bit + FRC )
%110 NTSC 1953, %128sRGB
60Hz

True 10Bit and 4K looks like great, i would like to hear your opinions.

You may want to mention what graphics card you are using as that could be a factor when playing games at 4k.

My GPU is RX480 8GB and i am gonna upgrade my whole system. Gaming is not very important for me. Movies and coding most important part especially picture quality and colors.

AOC is the cheapest probably cost almost half the price of that Samsung and for that price is not bad in my opinion.....If we look just quality&resolution I believe that Samsung is the winner....

Ok depend of the country it's even cheaper where I am from....one more thing Samsung have MVA panel you should know that those type of panels maybe don't have vibrant colors as IPS panels as you mention that colors are important to you.....

Only one thing makes me confuses. IPS 2K 8Bit+FRC vs MVA 4K 10Bit ?

I know IPS have more wide viewing angle, better color reproduction and low contrast ratio. But True 10Bit and 4K at 32" must be amazing also i am gonna look at monitor directly.

I am currently using ViewSonic VA2855smh it has 8 Bit VA panel, i compare with my MacBook Pro 2020 13". Both looks amazing, i actually suprised performance of my cheap ViewSonic VA2855smh.

Benchmark Scores Not really a benchmark guy...
I personally have two of the AOC Q3279VWFD8. I am very happy with them after about 1 year of use. Great colors, excellent array of inputs, FreeSync is great for gaming, no real problems to speak of.

Minor complaints:
  • The lack of VESA mounts is a bit annoying.
  • Gaming at 1440p can be a bit rough on my Vega 64.
  • 32" is a little too much screen at my typical 18-24" viewing distance, two of them together is outside my field of view.
If I could go back I might step down to 27", maybe even 24". Probably go 1080p since newer games are a struggle with the settings cranked.

As a side note I originally purchased these displays because I was building a training website for work at the time. I knew I needed more screen space at home to get it done quickly. These really fit the bill for that project.

Only one thing makes me confuses. IPS 2K 8Bit+FRC vs MVA 4K 10Bit ?

I can tell you the 8bit + FRC is very nice. The color quality is noticeable versus 8bit only and even more so versus 6bit+FRC that seems to be the standard these days. I'm not a graphics professional in any way shape or form so that's just my amateur opinion.

I think if the prices are close, I would go Sammy anyway... Just my brand bias. I needed two displays when I got these and they cost me about $250 each. I think they are more expensive now.

That's not true, it's not a huge difference between VA and IPS. Besides, the other two screens have cheaper IPS panels, so they won't look as good.

I am saying in general IPS should have a bit better viewing angles and more vibrant colors and VA should have better response time of course it's always depends of the exact panels as the technology progress every day.....
