Arctic cooling pins

Hi guys,


Have a little problem. Recently I took the Arctic cooling Freezer 13 Pro on local site Njuškalo.

It came to me without the pins, which the seller “allegedly can’t find”.



Is there anyone who is not using pins for AMD CPUs so that they don’t need pins for mounting? As I have Intel, so those are in need for me.

& then for a 1€ worth pins, you need to pay 10€ worth of handling & shipping. :kookoo:

Pretty sure OP bought that old cooler second hand.

In my opinion, return it, get funds back, and but a newer Arctic cooler, since they are affordable anyways.

Second hand for 14 Euro.
You may ask assistance from a local machinist in you city or village.
He will make two iron plates for you and with regular screws and nuts from local hardware store you will make the mounting.
This is possible if you get the motherboard at hand, so the machinist to measure the required dimensions and about making holes.
Total additional cost no more than 15 Euro.

either return it to the seller or buy the replacement parts

eitherway that cooler sucks anyway its a very old design and not likely going to be enough for any modern cpu

It's a 300W TDP cooler, that's why I got it.:D

& pretty sure all modern CPUs are well below that, if it will fit socket. :cool:

No No way (I know what the box says and its a load of sh!T) 125W is as much tdp is I would want to run though such a small cooler its roughly equal to a hyper 212 evo

Do not go there, brag and laugh, this is not 300W TDP cooler, this is not a Killer performer.
But it will serve you well if you manage to use it.

Finally added it to case, with all the parts.
On full 100% CPU work on projects in WCG, it's hitting 60°C.
Pretty satisfied with that & with no noise:


Also got one AC 7, which working in other computer on 70°C on full throttle:


While the CM HT20, have been moved to Linux machines in which 60W Q9550S & Q9400S are working:


Pretty satisfied with results.

Does anyone know how to setup AC 13 speed?
