Are 3300x can handle RTX 2060?

rtx 2060 zotac amp

Assuming ultra/max settings at 1080p you'll see very little if any CPU bottleneck unless you're playing some really old games. At most you will take a slight hit to 1% lows vs something like a R5 3600 or i5 10400.

yes what i aiming with this rtx 2060 and 3300x are about 70 fps ultra or max on 1080p gaming.
so according that article i dont lose much vs ryzen 3600 which is 6c 12t. i saw not more than 10 fps lose here pretty good considered the price.

do you know are gaming more toward to 6c 12t later?

I think a 12 thread cpu would be the safer choice but considering you will be on the Ryzen platform you can always grab a ryzen 4000 6 or 8 core cpu down the line assuming you grab at least a 400 series board or later.

The new upcoming game consoles might finally push game developers to utilize 8 cores otherwise it depends on how multi-threaded a game can be without a inter dependent threads getting in the way.

MT utilization is very game dependent it's usually the 1% lows that you will see a difference but as long as the CPU has enough physical cores for a given engine they're not needed. The 3300X Is a good example of this it has 8 threads and does much better than a 4 core 4 thread CPU for example because most games need at least 6 with preferably 8 threads

Maybe you should give them the benefit of the doubt if you understand what they are saying and stop to consider potentially english isn't their first language? And if you're going to be so quick to hop on grammar duty in a casual discussion, you should probably make sure yours is in check first. I bet you can't type another language with perfect grammar can you?

First language or not it pays to at least attempt to capitalise and punctuate correctly... It's not like every Latin script language has a different punctuation/capitalisation scheme. If this was a chat room I'd understand not doing it, but we're averaging less than a message an hour in most threads so there definitely isn't a rush to get the words out.

On the original question, 3300x is in the worst cases going to be passable, but given what I've seen of prices and availability the 3600 still seems like the better target.
