Are all X850 Pro VIVO able to unlock to 16 pipes?

I'm a noob at video card modding. I used the modified flashrom and a X850 XT bios. I successfully flashed the card. When I checked the ATI Tool, it says I still have 12 pipes. So, are some ATI X850 Pro VIVOs unable to unlock all the pipes?

Mine can't be unlocked. I have a Built by ATI Radeon X850PRO AGP VIVO.

first thing i would check .. on the side of the card there is a serial starting with 180** if your serial is bigger then 18053 you probaly can't unlock if its smaller then you progably can jsut use the -newbios with this xt bios

My SN is 180540 91.... X850PRO VIVO AGP from MSI (understand built by ATI). It comes with dual slot cooler and heat plate for the back side memory chips, 1.6 ns memory and with
unlockable 16 pipes. Another story is the "overclocking" potential of the 1.6ns Samsung memory (it should work at 600MHz without problems but it is not true on my X800XT and X850PRO@XT PE). After voltmod (original: 2.06/2.07V) to 2.04/2.20V and flashing of HIS X850XT PE BIOS (slight difference with ATI and Sappfire BIOSes) I have real X850XT PE.

But my recommendation would be older possible X850PRO VIVO from MSI or BBA (My should be produced someware in August 2005 looking the dates of the files with the driver CD. The memory batch is 510. I have bought it in January 2006.

sorry? it canot be built by ati if its an MSI .... its powered by ati not build i don't think serial rules apply serial from MSI are diferent then ATI

Thanks...I believe my cards pipes are unlockable but I've heard it makes a great overclocker. I just ordered an ArticSilencer!!! I'll be satisfied with that!
