There is nothing in the specs what say "noooo don't use me for gaming... I'll destroy all your amazing visual dream's"

You could look for one with a lower response time, 5ms is fine by all mean's but I'm just being picky there. There is one thing you should take note off though, and that is it only has 1 HDMI and 1 VGA input, no DVI, so just check you have the correct adaptor/cable.

I have this one and I like it. But most people will tell you they love the thing they bought so they don't get the buyers remorse....:)

My advice would be to try and find the one you are interested in try it out.

Agreed, for buying a monitor there is nothing better than going to the store and checking them all out! just looking at picture's is only eye candy when the thing's are turned off which is not what we do with them  your best seeing for yourself which is most pleasing for you on the eyes.

My LG is a great monitor.... (no I don't have buyers remorse) but despite it being a great monitor it has this ugly strip of thin chrome across the bottom, point being is if I didn't go in store to see it turned on and working to see the quality for myself I'd of passed on the chance and maybe not got another one so good all because I purely would of chose from the cosmetics rather than what really count's.

i found this zalman one. i know is old and the 3d effects are not so good but is piano black and rotates http://www.eshopcy.com.cy/show_per.phtml?id=PER.168820

what u guys think

The first one you showed was 1920 x 1080 and the second one is 1680x1050. You should update your system spec in the user CP so we can see if your system is able to run those resolutions.

The Zalman one is probably made by either LG or Samsung.

I am sorry to say but there is no way you'll be gaming with a Mobility Radeon HD 4530 and one of those monitors.

Going by on paper, that BenQ you have linked is not too too bad, it's actually pretty decent. I'd buy it. Also the Mobility 4350 is pretty decent for media use.

What's the whole specs of the laptop in question?
