Didn't check the link but, yes. A 40mm shaft with 8mm thread = 48mm total length. This may be to "long" for your application so i'd pay close attention when/if installing

Should do... Don't forget to factor in fan guard & gasket, if going that route. Otherwise 43mm will do the trick :)

cdawall got ya covered with everything else :toast:

Edit: Check local hardware stores for fateners, 6/32 is common ;)

As 43mm (hell even 45mm) screws are insanely difficult to get hold of, I'll need 6-32 screws with a 2" length, and just use washers to fill the gap discrepancy. Anyone else got advice on screws to use?

They do not have corners run a short screw through just the side that attaches to the radiator and use standard grill screws for the grill side.

What doesnt have corners? There are no screw holes in the corners of the nidecs?
In that case what length 6/32 screws will i need to penetrate through the plastic and fit snugly against the radiator?

EDIT: Ordered 2 fans and 2 pwm connectors. Just need the right 6/32 screws.

Here is a picture the red boxed area is what I mean by an open corner fan.

You would only use one side of the corner to mount the fans and put the screwdriver through the hole above the screw. I use I want to say 6mm long screws to do this.

So I have a H100, I dont care about noise in the slightest. The fans that come with it have a static pressure max of 7.7 in H2O. Are there any fans that have a higher max static pressure, or that will actually provide much higher cooling than the stock ones?
Scythe 1850's dont seem that high, and the corsair SP's are only 3.3 in H2O

ou havent hear deltas at full blast then.

Are you def? Then i would understand that statement

Agreed. I'd suggest OP watch some YouTube vids on the Deltas so he can hear exactly how loud they are, before purchasing.

So my fans arrived, stripped them, wired the 4 pin pwm connectors on according to an image on google, the image was wrong, and i messed up the connectors.

SO! ordered 2 more sets of PWM connectors, can someone give me an image of pwm wiring with black/blue/red/yellow wires please?

I'd look at either Vantec Tornadoes or Deltas. The two key features to high pressure are fixed blades guiding the intake air in and a high amperage motor pushing it away.

HAHA, yeah those Pana fans can be dangerous to you and them selves.

If i want make sure some thing gets cooled the Delta fan and the PANAflo should get the job done.

Might want to look in to 120x120x38mm size as they push even more air if you have the space that is..

The panaflo i had was the Rexus NMB-MAT and due to human error ( yes me lol ) it stripped 3 blades off and it had previously cut my finger in the past..

EDIT:
since noise is not problem you can pick one of those
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5a/Turbofan-Engine.jpg

just dont point back side at pc.
they have own power supply so you dont have to worry would mobo handle it or not

Best make sure you don't have it in reverse either or you be dog meat.

I could do with an actual picture, which way around do you have the female PWM plastic facing when you wire the cables in? flat facing up or down?

This is the image i followed, is it right? Other images are different.

Pin 4 is the one that is added on (PWM). Pin 1-3 correspond with the guide for the 3-pin connector (12V, GND, and speed/tach).

The pic you got is backwards (guides are on the wrong side and just wrong).

this ^
also if you follow the wires to the fans centre, you will see that its been labled there as well.
with plus minus etc.

Cant see the wires to the fan's centre because the plastic guides are glued on to the rear of the fan where the PCB is.
