I literally just had to reapply thermal paste and feel that a good way to confirm whether the thermal paste has been applied properly is to run a stress test.

I have a closed water loop H100i

Ok it's fine, but I think it's still high for a watercooled CPU.
You'll see the same temps with good air cooling.

We don't know your ambient temp though.

You ve got 30C distance to Tj max at full load . It s safe enough .The real core temp should be 70C
So do you reckon my thermal paste has been applied ok? The last thing I want is the paste not being over all the cores.

Thanks

The temperature outside is around 16 Celsius right now.

Do you think I should reapply my thermal paste?

How fast do you have the CPU running?
If it's running at stock speed, then something isn't right.

Ok, I am going to remove my cooler and try again. I may have tightened the screw too much like you said.

How fast do you have the CPU running?
If it's running at stock speed, then something isn't right.
At stock, around 2300RPM

At what CPU speed is that result ?
At stock, around 2300RPM

i use HWinfo, si if possible, dowload it, run sensors only, and perform some tests, benchs or also gaming, after some minutes take a watch on HWInfo sensors read, let us know,

Tip: you could use Windows Snipping tool to post here a screen shot simple Paste it on the reply field! no need for screen shots hosted links!

I always spread it with a card, with that I always get good temps.

"Do not monitor this sensor"
this one, don't worry, that might open a large window with all the possible sensors on the motherboard, incluiding, CPU usage, frequency and temps, which are the ones we need!, so run sensors only, ignore that sensor [Do not monitor it, its a bug on all Asus motherboards] then run a bech o game something for a while [5 or 10 minutes] then give us a screen shot to see how its the rig doing sir

Ok I used prime95 to run a benchmark using the "Blend" option, if you need me to run a bench on another program just say which one (as long as its free)

I tried to get the screenshots as close together as possible but they obviously would have deviated a bit.

If I have made an error, feel free to tell me.
