ASRock, the leading global motherboard, graphics card and mini PC manufacturer, today launched the new AQUA, Taichi and Phantom Gaming series graphics cards based on AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series GPUs.

The new graphics cards are built on the groundbreaking AMD RDNA 3 architecture with chiplet technology. AMD RDNA 3 architecture delivers up to 54% more performance per watt than AMD RDNA 2, features the world's fastest interconnect linking the graphics and memory system chiplets at up to 5.3 TB/s, and offers up to 96 new unified compute units and second-generation AMD Infinity Cache technology. It also delivers increased AI throughput that provides up to 2.7X higher AI performance, and rearchitected compute units with second-generation ray tracing technology that provides up to 1.8X higher ray tracing architectural performance in select titles versus AMD RDNA 2 architecture.

The new ASRock Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards are equipped with up to 24 GB of GDDR6 memory and blazing fast clock speeds that deliver incredible performance while maximizing graphical fidelity. The AMD Radiance Display Engine provides 12 bit-per-channel color for up to 68 billion colors for incredible color accuracy. With support for DisplayPort 2.1 technology running at UHBR 13.5, the new graphics cards offer up to 54 Gbps of display link bandwidth and enable high-refresh 4K (up to 480 Hz) or 8K (up to 165 Hz) gaming on next-gen displays.

In addition, ASRock Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards support various ASRock exclusive features such as the Striped Ring Fan, the Ultra-fit Heatpipe, a metal frame, a metal backplate, and Polychrome SYNC technology to provide great cooling efficiency, solid construction, and fancy ARGB light effects. With these premium specifications and exclusive features, ASRock Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards are outstanding choices for gamers and creators.

ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX AQUA 24 GB OC Graphics Card
The brand-new flagship ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX AQUA 24 GB OC graphics card is ASRock's first liquid-cooling graphics card, using the AQUA Liquid Cooling System with the high purity nickel-plated copper plate and Jet Microchannel Engine. The transparent and stylish water block provides effective heat dissipation, and the 0.3 mm jet microchannel enhances the water flow and speeds heat dissipation. Also, the stylish acrylic backplate combines acrylic and aluminium to make the graphics card more elegant. The built-in ARGB LEDs can synchronize lighting effects with ASRock motherboards that support Polychrome SYNC, allowing users to customize the lighting system. With the powerful 22 power phase design, it features smooth power delivery to offer enhanced performance. Overall, the ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX AQUA 24 GB OC graphics card is an excellent choice for power users and case modders to build liquid-cooling systems.

ASRock Radeon RX 7900 Taichi Series Graphics Cards
The high-end, 3-slot ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Taichi 24 GB OC and ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Taichi 20 GB OC graphics cards use the triple-fan Taichi 3X cooling system with the customized 110/100/110 mm Striped Ring Fans, Air Deflecting Fin and Ultra-fit Heatpipe, greatly increasing thermal efficiency. The unique ARGB Taichi halo, side and back LED lighting effects support Polychrome SYNC allowing users to customize lighting effects. They are also equipped with up to 22 power phase design to offer enhanced performance. The metal frame and backplate prevent the PCB from bending, and the Dual BIOS option allows users to freely choose their favorite BIOS settings to optimize for performance or quiet operation. With its excellent performance and rich features, ASRock's Radeon RX 7900 Taichi Series graphics cards are the premium choices for power users.

ASRock Radeon RX 7900 Phantom Gaming Series Graphics Cards
The middle-end, 2.8-slot ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaming 24 GB OC and ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XT Phantom Gaming 20 GB OC graphics cards use the triple-fan Phantom Gaming 3X cooling system with the customized 100/100/100 mm Striped Ring Fans, Air Deflecting Fin and Ultra-fit Heatpipe to provide superior cooling performance. ARGB LEDs that support Polychrome SYNC allow users to customize lighting effects, while the metal frame and backplate prevent the PCB from bending. The Super Alloy Graphics Card components provide stability for long-term operation. With its great performance and rich features, ASRock's Radeon RX 7900 Phantom Gaming Series graphics cards can totally satisfy the needs of gamers.

All boards use 3x 8-pin connectors. I'd like to see an AIB design that follows the reference model. And unfortunately these air cooled cards won't fit in my case at 34.5 and 33cm long :ohwell:

Does Bitspower make all of ASRock's blocks? I'd recognize the design of that terminal anywhere.

Not complaining, just the design seems to be a bit old

There are recent reports of severe N31 efficiency issues on wave32 mode, and disabling of dual FMA issuance in that mode. It might not even be better than that of RDNA2. Please report on this.

ASRock... today launched... graphics cards based on AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series GPUs

Where can I buy them, how much do the cost, what is the performance? Do they now "launch" new products without any meaningful information?

Annnd no USB-C. Why doesn't AMD mandate it on partner cards FFS? It's not like it's an extra connector, it's just replacing a DP with a USB-C, how much extra can that cost? I hate everything.

Rumours are not reports.

Yea I completely agree with you, I don't understand why 1 USB C is so taboo to the AIB's...

Different note, I do like the look of the waterblocked card!

What kind of a silly answer is that? Or do you only see things in terms of green vs red score points? His question been making the rounds in twitter-sphere so I'd like to know too.

Fancucker is an extreme Nvidia troll and is not actually interested in the answer. But if you would like to throw your lot in with him or her, I will ask you a silly question:

Why on God’s green earth should I take you seriously after saying ‘making the rounds on twitter’? Give me a break.

RDNA3 reviews will be up on Monday.
