Hello everyone, I am a nobie here on TPU and I just bought a nice Asrock Z68 second-hand. I was able to get it and the case it was in for only $20, because it had a few bent pins in the 1155 cpu socket. So I was able to reset all but 1 of 6-7 pins, that last one broke on me. From the research I have done it, seems that the pin that failed on me, and the worst bent, was AG-5, sub-labeled SB-DQ(4), which indicates this pin is for the DDR3.
Am I out of luck if I can not repair it????
I do have these lovely P3s and their pins staring at me wanting to be used...hmmm.
Thank you in advance for all advice!!!
