If they don't drop the price in a few days then I'm going to pull the trigger and buy one finally.

i have an asrock p55 extreme it gets my 860 up to 4.3 without a hitch, also has 775 socket holes. been running rock solid now for atleast 5 or 6 months, not a complaint yet.

Hey guys, thanx for the info.

Looks like ASRock was making lower end boards, then they spun off from ASUS and now want to go up market with better boards.

I have several one to look at, and their price per features seems really good.

I personally think they went up market quite some time ago and are probably every bit as good as the competition.

My ASRock X58 Extreme mobo came with bent pins. One was bent under a pin 2 pins away from it. Don't know if that is ASRock's fault or the vendor I got it from.

GO FOR IT!!! AsRock boards have definitely improved over the years. Although some people may not agree with me but I actually think that AsRock boards can actually compete with the leading brands. Just stay away from the older models
