Assassins Creed directors cut from Amazon wont install

Played it years ago but didnt have a copy anymore. It was cheap last week on amazon so I picked it up. Spent 3 days downloading it on my stupid internet and now it wont install. It stops at the same point everytime, during installation when it gets to dataPC_Streamedsounds.forge it fails. The first time the error message said that a file didnt match the setup .cab the installation will now terminate. I tried compatability mode, didnt help at all changed the error code tho. Running as administrator doesnt help. Restarting computer and killing everything unnecesary in the background doesnt help either. If anyone has any other ideas that might help i would appreciate it.

If an installer errors, it usually means the download is corrupt and needs to be redownloaded. You might be able to redeem the key on uPlay and install it from Ubisoft directly.

Thanks I'll try that. I did try to dl it again with the same results. So I'll give Uplay a shot

Edit: I fugured it out, had to redownload without any interruptions during the download I guess. Which is hard when it takes like 2 days with a rather unreliable internet connection. But i redownloaded and it installed fine
