Assuming all these graphics cards are the same price, which one would you prefer?
Now that the A380 is mostly a known variable, maybe it's time to close the poll and start another, "Knowing the A380, assuming same price, what would you buy?" Would it still get as much as 11.6 percent of votes?

I would go the GTX 1060 6G
its the fastest and the most VRAM and at the settings it runs at it can use those extra 2 gb

Assuming the same price but they are not. Currently it should be the 6500XT($179) against the 1650, which leads to the 6500 XT being the best buy in this segment at current pricing.

Voted for the obvious GTX 1060 6GB but there should of been a RX 580 8GB option.

What's the argument for anything other than the 1060?
Much less power draw for 1650. Possible fanless version with Palit Kalmx 1650 - reportedly low or no coil whine too for Kalmx. Lesser energy bills - in Europe from January 2023 when new tariffs with 100%+ go live, it's going to actually matter. All these cards are old and the culture of work would be their only selling point for me - for old games and so on.
Hardware Unboxed GTX 1650 power draw

This has been my bible when buy GPUs.
Go to TPU and pull relative performance at the resolution I mostly plan to game at.
Never cared if it was AMD or NVIDIA or how much VRAM it had only whatever cards tops that chart.

With the ARC cards new math will get into play due to the big difference in DX12 vs DX11 titles not to mention all the bugs that you'll have to fight through but depending on how cheap they sell the cards I might pick it over AMD and NVIDIA.

With ARC improving by the week it seems (and the fact that most games I play would be on the tier one list) I would pick ARC partly to tinker/ because it might have more longevity than the 1060 drivers wise but this is the only card in the list with full DX12U support and 6GB of VRAM. 4GB of VRAM is becoming like 2GB of VRAM where it was plenty for a while until out of nowhere it wasn't.

No man, its the 6GB that makes that card. Who cares about 10-15% perf really, that's half a tier difference, an OC on Pascal usually gets you half that number already.

4GB cards are just obsolete for gaming in 2022, simple. And the only other 6GB alternative has shite perf/drivers/availability. Plus the vast majority of 4GB alternatives is heavily handicapped beyond VRAM too. The 1060 6GB is just a full blown mid range card, no ifs or buts.

Another aspect is, the product is tried and tested, and the architecture is on equal footing with AMD's latest in many ways.
5500XT Came in an 8GB version too. lol
