how much is it better than my Asus gtx460 758mb? i found a great deal on one, and is it really worth the upgrade?

The 560 Ti is actually the suggested video card by NVidia to play BF3, so should offer a good boost in performance.

AFAIK, you can't SLI 2 different GPUs. You can SLI 2 different cards (different brand, different clock, etc) but it must be the same GPU (560Ti with another 560Ti, 580 with 580, etc.).

i thought i read somewhere on this forum that people were SLI'ing different cards -_- now that i have the 2 i cant find the thread. :(

Yeah you can sli different cards, but you have to mod drivers and probally latest drivers are not supported, it's alot of hassle what in my opinion isn't worth it, you won't get alot extra performans, maybe sell your 460 and get second hand 580 or something, a gtx560ti does bf 3 on ultra, but you won't. Get alot of frames

Looks like it can be done according to that thread, and again if it's hectic to do what the thread says good thing is you can use one as a physics card, i suggest use the GTX460 as a physics card.

Should have sold the 460 before buying a new one. You could have had a bigger budged for a better card

^last minute buy, im actually gonna sell the 460 and save up for a new build. this card went into my budget build that i bought when i was unemployed. now that i have a job i wanna go with a 680 and an i7 and hand this computer over to my lil cousin
