ASUS today added the Eee PC T91 to its highly-successful Eee PC line. This new model is the first to sport an 8.9" swivelable touchscreen and a suite of touch-optimized software that enables users to get the most out of finger or stylus input—thus transcending the capabilities of previous generations of devices in its class. The Eee PC T91 was first unveiled at CES 2009 to tremendous buzz, and it is yet another example of ASUS outstripping its competitors in terms of being the first to market with cutting-edge innovations.

I find tablets incredibly usefull for doing graphics work. its much more comfortable to draw with a pen-like implement then a mouse. Touch screens are one step up id say.

Anyone knows something about the chipset ?
And is it dualcore Atom ?

My thoughts:

0,3M Webcam -> ouch
1GB RAM -> lame i know you get good prices why no 2GB?
Storage -> just chaos, confusion doesn't make me buy things
optional: GPS ect.... -> nice one, did you copy this rom Fans modding their EEE?
SDHC Reader Build in -> finally internal SDHC Reader are not widely used in newer Laptops

GPU? -> advertise that or i won't buy it

Unfortunately these will not work like tablets because every interaction will "draw on it". There are tablet-touch exclusive PCs for that purpose though.

.3m its in a netbook all netbooks carry this
1GB of ram is a requirement posed by microsoft to get good deals on XP
storage is set up dumb 20GB of eeestorage thats asus's online crap right?
options have been available on all of these thats what the mini pci-e slot on netbooks is for
SDHC is just another version of SD damn near any notebook will read it even if it says only SD on it
currently all netbooks carry the same GPU its intel's US15W chipset so it carries intel's garbage GPU

lol nice!

This is a nice netbook I must say. As for the graphics, you don't need any high tech graphics for a netbook...
They are supposed to be small and easy, as well as nice, slim, and portable. Really great idea to roll with,
but I think I'm going to wait for other brands to produce them to see if there is any major difference between them.

Is it multitouch? Is that a glossy screen just waiting for fingerprints?

the eeeTOP is a single touch i somewhat doubt this would be any different
