I do that sometime tomorrow night just wrecked from testing. As well it did report something like around 3gb ram by video memory stress test v1.7.116 i will upload pictures and screen shots as well bios revison etc

Why is the die etched out?

I wish you would of gotten a screenshot before you flashed the bios.

The die was like that when i first opened it as that the same bios i found on bios collectionon this site The gpuid is shown as well

I will upload the full pcb front and back tomorrow

As for the die i can say it gp107-400-a1 as i found a image exact same die as above as that as far i can find about that gpu. As well my asus p5q premium board just developed a problem while hearing popping noises had a look up 3 of 4 fan headers stop working while i can smell magic smoke but didnt see what blew. Just bad luck lately (double facepalmed)

Micron made it very hard to find out what your memory values are exactly

Yea i already spoken to a supplier about the memory type they are exact same just different batch which i had 4 same memory chip expect one has a different marking on it as 3 will have 9RN7 except one 9NIT or 9N1T on memory bank 2 which explained the little issue if i go over 900mb under load the graphic card will freeze with a funky colour then reboot the system on it own

Ok so you have a bad card totally.

Id send it back really, unless if you can get the correct ram chip and find a reballer

The card will work like normal if i use youtube or anything below 900mb vram usage but if i use superpostion it crashes with default settings as i was reading the ram usage exactly 933mb or higher it throws a funky colors doesnt matter if the gpu and ram underclock so sounds like micron bad batch on this graphic card so i spoken to a computer repair centre in my country he said possible bad ceramic caps or memory failure i will sent it up to him in a few weeks to see if he can repair it as it might take a week to get parts to fix the problem hopely i dont mind spending a few euros to get it working.

Strange thing is when i was testing the card on the memory voltage it was jumping from 1.35v to 1.50v i dont know if the memory is doing power saving or the card is doing that when performance level is enabled

Ok get the Ram Chip I Specified in my link earlier, replace that 9init with the with D9SXD (9RN7)

Those are 8gibibit chips which are 1GibiByte each, so You infact have a 4GibiByte card.

Can i get a picture of the heatsink and pci bracket (gotta know exactly what card we are dealing with here
