That's great for you, but it's best to leave personal bias at the door when comparing to things "known to explode at rated max wattage," which the CX isn't, to it's credit. raidmax's don't get off so lucky.

It really comes down to who actually makes the PSU. Most of the brand names just slap their name on the side. If you look carefully at the list and how its determined Corsair has a PSU in every tier except the worst. Go read some that thread, some of those guys are very anal retentive about quality ratings. I'm sure a few TPU members would disagree with some of that list.

Its pretty easy to say that just because one or two PSUs failed the whole brand is now junk, even overrated.

iv had two HX750's die on me meanwhile I have this OCZ500W that i bought in 2011 thats still ticking along
