asus motherboards

Can anyone please help me identify a good asus motherboard, mid-ranged board, looking for something cheap but worth its money.
Also please attach a pic of the board and link to where i can get the specs

Should be between AM2+ and Intel 775 sockets
Should have 4 X DDR2 1066MHZ slots
ATX size
And hopefully SLI or Crossfire, single GPU will also be fine, but no onboard

What socket? And why Asus? If you want cheap Asus wouldn't be my first choice. So what exactly do you consider cheap anyway?

i edited in what i would like the board to have, sorry for the lack of information.

reason for an asus board is that the place im getting my parts from only stocks asus and intel boards, maybe also if good intel boards are there you can recommed a couple.

I can heartily reccomend my skt 775 asus P5Q-E,has been supremly stable,and oc's very well.

+1 to that. A very good board indeed. If you want really cheap, try to find a P5B Premium board.

I did look at the cheaper -pro when i got my -E,but i prefered the extras on the -E.I was'nt really bothered about paying a bit extra for the -E version.

What motherboard comes with decent PCI placement these days :ohwell:

They all gotta have 2 PCIE slots, which ain't bad, but they sacrifice some PCI usage for sure.

The -E has one pci slot above the top pci-e slot which is very useful.

No its not. Who uses a PCI slot for anything important these days? :wtf:

Even soundcards have moved to PCI-E now, so if anything you want a 1x PCI-E slot above the main 16x PCI-E slot

My vote also goes to the P5Q Pro, mine does 520FSB.

Thats the Deluxe isn't it? I'm pretty sure the -E doesn't. Then again asus have so many god damn P5Q boards now their all basically the same board just with stuff removed from the PCB most of the time :wtf:

Yup, my dad has that board and it's a great. Overclocking is nice on it. Q6600 3.2GHz on it :laugh:
