Sorry, too lazy to read the whole thread, but are the socket pins ok?

Yes. Socket pins are all good.

If you are using the most up to date bios.. don't. Go back to about mid life or so, that's what I did at it solved all of my problems.

I've flashed all available bios from ASUS website. None of them worked.
