It's good until you have mobo with gpu on the second pcie slot instead of the first (like my ASUS B550M TUF).
With pretty standard 3-slot 3080 card, having fans or 3.5 hdd at the bottom is not an option.
Also with 360mm radiator, things started to get worse. The 3.5 HDD need to be crammed under the PSU and it will be very painful to connect SATA & power cable to the HDD.

Hmm, I wonder how many people really still have HDDs though? I initially had one in my build but moved it to my server so no more HDD in my desktop.

External ones, sure. In the system, no thanks. I'd rather enjoy (near) complete silence at idle. :)

Yeah, I do still use a SATA SSD currently as my primary drive because I didn’t feel like reinstalling but my next go around in a couple years I’m gonna stick to NVMe only. It’s just so much tidier.

I managed to use this case with 6x 140mm Fans (Arctic P14):
3x below
3x top

GPU was a MSI Gaming X RX 6900 XT (55mm height, 324 length)

Now I have a ASUS Strix RTX 4090 OC and it would be still possible to use the same Fan configuration, but there is not enough space for air flow between the fans and the GPU.

I changed now also to my old Arctic 280 ARGB.
The Strix 4090 GPU is still very cool (55-60°).

Without the PSU mounted in the front, the case actually does have lot's of space for adding other things,..

Wow, looks like the best of the best components!

2x 990 Pro 1Tb @ RAID 0?
7950X? :D

I wanted also the X670E Gene (beautiful board), but the IDLE Power Consumption is a way too high for me at the moment.

The Asus AP201 chassis fills up quickly after you run all the power cables & water lines,.. ten pounds of shit in a five pound box.

I still have cable management to do, clean-up the routing and add cable combs, ties.

Plan on running the water lines from chassis to mora tonight, leak-test, and power-up, start testing system this weekend.

I moved to this case from a sugo 14 when I bought a 4090 and couldn't quite make it fit.

5900x, Corsair AiO, OC'd GSkill RAM, four drives (2 m.2, 2 sata) PNY 4090, SilverStone LP1000 PSU and a load of Noctua fans.

The case is a big mesh, it's going to have great thermals.

This is a 335mm RTX 4080 and a 175mm bequiet! Dark Power 12, even at the highest fitting option for the PSU there is about 2cm of clearance issues.

Nice Optimus block.

Weird. According to PNY, your card is 332 mm long. Wonder which outfit messed up. What does each part measure? The AP201 manual suggests that the 338 mm should be to the PSU shroud, and that PSU length shouldn't be a factor.

PNY's stats for the card:

The card is 335mm long as measured by TPU in the review.

Whatever Asus is saying in their manual is wrong.

As myself and it seems some on Reddit have discovered, their 338 mm size limit allows for the card to project underneath the PSU area.

The Dark Power 12 measures 175mm as advertised.

Additionally 338mm is not 13.06 inches, it's 13.3".

So ASUS has two different measurements in their own manual.

I don't mean to state the obvious here, but you can move the PSU cage up and down into 3 different positions by just unhooking it from the front of the case.
I have the AP201 and it looks like you have the PSU cage on position 2, in the middle. Is that correct?
Have you taken a look to check if you can move the cage "up" toward the top of the case another rung?
It makes the clearance between the power cable and the top of the case tight, but it should give you the clearance you require for the GPU.

The 13.06 is from PNY's website. Sorry; should have separated the screencaps better.

EDIT: I have a suspicion: What are the measurements between the points shown below (tape measure precision is fine)?

The cage is on the upmost fitting, it physically can't be moved further up as there is the front panel IO.

Probably this. Either way huge oversight from the manufacturer. It's definitely less than the quoted clearance.

Moving him to a Lian Li O11 Air Mini as it will fit everything with room to spare.

Does anyone know or can provide a photo of how much space there is between the side opening of the pus bracket to the back panel?
I am looking to fit a "Corsair RM850x shift" fan facing outwards the case, was wondering if all the cabling from psu to mb/pcie would fit in the gap.

Suppose you use this case with a complete water-cooled loop. What keeps the air from immediately recycling upon itself? I can respect that the case is mesh, but in my mind, once the air goes into the fans/radiator, it comes right back out of the case. Is this a good thing? I do not know.

I changed now also to my old Arctic 280 ARGB.
The Strix 4090 GPU is still very cool (55-60°).
Could you get an 420 radiator across the top?
