That CPU cooler you have has a base that makes it so that all the pipes transfer heat they way they are design to, I may have not made myself very clear.

I presume there is a solder/tim between the pipes. Then again I have a vaporX cooler on mine, no issues

Mine was PSU issue, Seasonic sent me a new PSU.
