I was wondering will my current cooler fit on the new ASUS board that will arrive tomorrow?

Yes, it will fit just fine. I'm using a 9700 on my Maximus Formula.

Should be fine, as long as a cooler supports the CPU socket you are using, it should fit any motherboard, or come with the proper mounting equipment to fit any board that uses the socket it is made for.

The Rampage is socket 775 so I'll put my Q6600 in it and I wanna try and see if I can overclock my CPU by another 200MHz (3.4GHz) then put the Zalman on top.

i can see no reason why it shouldnt...i had the copper one with the blue light on a badaxe the heatsink on the northbridge stood pretty tall with a 40mm fan screwed to it and had no worries.
