been trying my damnest to get my read speeds into the 70gb area mems are the corsair 2800 lpx and has samsung chips.
really dont need or want to upgrade but I see what ppl getting on hynix and see kit prices drop but i been tuning the hell out this kit lol

so super virgin tight imma need a miracle lol , cant lower trcd and trp at this speed. ill guess im good for this daily and it looks like ddr4 dried up on newegg

got some case bling also serves as flashlight cause i'm always poking around going to clean out dust bunnies and add new fittings today

Got my rig watercooled now and it's opened up a lot more scope for overclocking. I can now use more than 1.250vcore. I've got water blocks on the vrm and pch too. Doubt they will make much difference though. Looks like I have the same GPU block as you. I have the active back plate, it looks great and realy helps cool the gpu vrm1 even further BUT with the back plate I can not install my gpu in to PCI slot 1. The back plate hits the bottom of the ram slots.

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
That won't make a bit of difference outside of restricting your loop a bit (cooling power bits/PCH).

^^ yeah I realise that cooling those components is not going to help me get higher clocks, especially with my set up and this particular CPU, but it looks good lol.

why are you over clocking with four stick of memory? at 4500 that board will auto volt, you may need to drop the voltage a bit but you'd be good.

yea i was planning on getting those back plates but didnt think they would be compatible with sli/cf wb bridge

actually the vrm cooler makes sense because they do get hot with reported temps in the 80c range when overclocking heavy and asus reps recommending placing a fan over it

the x99 platform needs 4 sticks of memory to enable quad channel. and i dont worry about auto volts i apply all my torture manually lol

At least they are fixing there drivers, tests like 3Dmark 05 with 3 way SLI used to go backwards. I could do 5400 with water on that system, sadly the board died in flames................:(

Yeah the back plate mite not work for you. I think EK do a back plate that you could use.

The mobo VRM stays very cool now under load. Running Asus real bench the VRM hits about 40c with a 4.4 1.3v oc. And thats with only having one 360 rad and a GPU in the loop. I have the switching rate set to 700.

does the ek back plate actively cool or just for show?

WOW that's one incredible memory kit.
So low latency on such speed, even for 2800MHz kit that would be amazing results.
I like them immediately when Crucial show them, and Mushkin Black Frostbyte are nice but I choose this time something tested on R5E, GSkill 2800.
They are cheap, 215e and tested by ASUS.
They can't say it's not compatible you should choose QVL kit.

Very nice memory OC'ing, could you elaborate on what voltages you're using? Maybe post a screen with TurboV

I just want to ask that, probably is 1.35V.
It's not often some kit to over pass 2 levels over specification with much tighter latency.
This is extremely low latency and for 2666MHz.

I agree but my guess is well over 1.4 vmem and maybe some increase on other things.

i choose this kit because not to many ppl are using them atm and i wanted to bench something different, being that booting 3000 on rve is lucky i feel

this is balls to the wall but my cas12 is around 1.45
