Hi to everyone,

I have bought a ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO motherboard and 2 M.2 2280 nvme single sided drives.
I am currently confused and having difficulty understanding the manual on where to place the bundled M.2 rubber for single sided M.2 2280 nvme drives.
I will be installing one drive on the top gen5 slot and the other on the bottom gen4.

by the way can i leave the bottom plastic seal on the pad, since there are no chips to be cooled on the single sided ssd and i don't want to damage it
because i will be getting a double sided one down the line.
(sorry for my grammar)

Can someone please show me on the picture bellow where to place them including the last 2 gen4 slots

i figured out where to install the rubber pads.

Can someone at least tell me if i can leave the plastic seal on the thermal pad? will it cause any issues like static electricity when the PC is powered on?
