i got my connection upgraded to 90/90mbit from 40/40mbit about 2 weeks ago or something but my Asus RT-AC66U running Merlin firmware ain't actually willing to open ports for me anymore and i still have the same configuration even reset my router, setting it up again, updating the firmware i am wondering if changing my ip on my isp site to starting with 185.xx.xx.xxx instead of 89.xxx.xxx.xxx as i had before could have cause this issue even i am still having my s-dynamic ip.

If this ain't the problem then why can't i open ports, i got dedicated port for skype, ftp and more.

portforward.router.jpg

and yes my local ip segment is starting with 99.xxx.xx.xx been using this for more then 6months so it's not that with this router.

oki srsly, had a nice talk with my isp's technical support and it looks like someone made a mistake bcs my wan ip starts with 100 and ip-adress.com says it starts with 185, and my subscription shouldn't change just bcs of a speed upgrade that's what the tech man told me so, it makes since that my portforwarding is jumping joy all over the place since it sometimes can read my real ip and other times not...

Glad to see it's resolved. Personally I would advise you change your internal IP addressing space from 99.x.x.x.... That's a valid public IP range and could cause some weird routing issues. General rule of thumb is to always stick to the Private IP classes to avoid routing issues:

A - 10.0.0.0/8
B - 172.16.0.0/16 to 172.31.0.0/16
C - 192.168.0.0/24 to 192.168.255.0/24

oki, customer supporters should try to be technical support bcs they srsly ain't good at, then he changed my ip to a static ip and i told him to listen carefully what i say no, MY WAN IP STARTS WITH 100.xx.xxx.xx and if i use a site like ip-adress.com it says my ip is 185.xxx.xx.xx and that don't work, and after 10mins of him trying to understand he was like oki think i got it done now, so my ip on ip-address.com and wan ip now matches and i got my ports open again, srsly some ppl should just leave this stuff to tech support...

The 99.x.x.x range does overlap with the public addressing space. No network professional would recommend you use it. But if you're happy to accept that.

It's likely your ISP was NATing your service. It's quite common in some countries.

it wasn't NAT Service my problem was at my WAN IP was 100.xx.xxx.xx and sites like http://www.ip-adress.com/ showed me 185.xxx.xx.xxx and that's no good they need to be the same not different.

No your ISP would have been NATing your connection, which is why you were seeing a different WAN IP through ip-address.com. If you could reach it and it was showing a different IP, then your ISP was NATing your connection. If they weren't you wouldn't have been able to reach ip-address.com. They have just assigned your connection a WAN IP rather than NATing.

It wasn't a nat problem even technical support at my isp saw that, and said this wasn't really right with or without a nating service.
