I've successfully managed to brick my GPU and I've tried to fixed it for basically 2 days straight and now I'm at a point where I have no idea what to do next, maybe someone here can help. This is my current Situation and things I've tried so far:

Flashing in windows with different software versions: mostly ROM not found error
Flashing in DOS: ROM not erased or smth that it couldn't write anything, after 1+8 pin Method. amdflash finds the adapter and prints pass after removing the paperclip

Flashing with CH341 Programmer: programmer can't erase and is not able to write anything. (also used different software versions on windows)

additional info: GPU ASUS RX580 8gb dual OC CHIP: w25x20clnig

if u need any more info let me know, hope someone can help me.

edit/upate: I successfully erased and programmed the chip now with the programmer (with the backup of my BIOS I made with GPUZ). After that I tried to put it back into my PC and all it did was just beep a few times and still a black screen. Is it possible that the backup file is broken somehow?

Try BIOS from the database:

There are several ones for each memory brand.

Look at CH341 guides on the web and YouTube.

I know the the CH341 works.
I looked at the database as well, but how do I identify the right BIOS? Since I don't know what memory brand my GPU is from.

So, I flashed my GPU with the right BIOS now, but it still dosen't work. When I put the card into my PC it does boot, but it still gives me a blackscreen. When I put the card into my other PC and enable Internal GPU, windows shows the card as Microsoft Basic Adapter and when I install amd drivers it shows the card as a 590....

When I try to flash the card on normal windows BTW, it gives me a ROM error.

Yes, this is the correct BIOS.

Try flashing from EFI Shell or MS-DOS.

Giving me the ROM not erased error :(

after I do unlock rom command, it prints the GPU as pass with BIOS version and all... still can't flash tho....

Read the article I sent you. Try flashing me from EFI Shell and MS-DOS with USB flash drive.

I told you VBIOS flash will not change HWID and possibly brick the card.

I did try flashing it from EFI Shell and MS-DOS. As I said it gives me the ROM not erased error.

Try to short the video BIOS 1-8 pins and then flash. If you have dual BIOS, its usually the one on the bottom.

If it still won't let you, trying shorting BOTH chips, or use CH341 programmer to unbrick it.

Well, I tried with the CH341 and I guess I even managed to programm the chip with the right BIOS from the database, but it still dosen't work nor does it change anything (the programmer could read, erase, write and Verify) that's why I dont understand that it dosen't work.

I also shortened the 1+8 pins, tried to flash with both EFI and DOS but its giving me the same errors. (In my case the 8th pin is at the opposite site of the first, so I shortened these two)

idk what u mean with "both" chips? are there two BIOS chips? I don't think my card has a dual BIOS system, but I'm not really sure of anything here so.... :D

Some cards have dual BIOS for backup and some cards have dual BIOS to switch between silent and performance profiles.

If you have the correct BIOS for ASUS RX 580 8GB with Micron memory chips already flashed, maybe you accidentally damaged the card in the progress.

Yeah that could actually be true. I guess I have to bring it into a PC repair shop and have them take at look a it

could the BIOS chip itself be the faulty part? That wouldn't be too difficult to replace with some soldering skills.
