Hi guys, I have a TAICHI 31 and have had it for about 6 months. Anyway while I was checking a game to see if it was working properly before I leave overseas tomorrow on holiday the laptop just turned off INSTANTLY. I mean like all power was lost. It was on full charge and everything and not even a BSOD occurred. I tried to restart it after this and I only have the 'ON' light next to the slide switch and the caps lock light. I can hear the fan if I move my ear next to it. No display, no 'ASUS' logo on the lid either. I've tried connecting it to an external screen and nothing. I'm really considering moving to the VAIO Fit Flip PC because of all the niggles I have encountered like some random BSODs if I open OneNote however I hadn't had this happen to me for a while now.

Also I was still on normal windows 8 because I saw all the issues people were having with 8.1 who had a TAICHI (e.g. the second screen not working in tablet mode etc).

I'm guessing it is RMA time when I come back from overseas? Any suggestions?

I have great luck as well because last time I went overseas my phone died the day before.........
