Upgrading ram on my ASUS TUF Series FX504GE-E4366T gaming laptop...Laptop has single 8 GB DDR4 2666mhz ram stick..i want to upgrade 2 dual 8 gb DDR4 ram..
found a dual 8 gb 2400mhz Kit...would like to know if its compatible..No info on asus website page..

You want matching sticks for best performance.
Open the ASUS TUF Series FX504GE-E4366T and see what ram it has, take a photo of the RAM sticker and just purchase a matching 8GB stick.

The whole idea of upgrading was to get dual channel memory performance....single channel 8gb working fine at present...if its too much then i may drop the whole thing...
besides only intermittent gaming only...i use the laptop mainly for medical imaging...

Search your India allowed sources. Just match the sticker number HMA81GS6CJR8N-VK

Not an immediate need, then search when you can, it will pop up as others remove theirs to upgrade. You have time to take a more prudent approach.

Buying the matched set and selling the original is your best choice.... only you however can assess the value of the investment. In the future try and find a Clevo distributor near you ... you can select just about every component in your lappie this way and usually for less money.
