My Asus Z170 Deluxe will no longer post beep. The motherboard was working no problem earlier & now all of the sudden the motherboard will not post beep
Another issue I experience When I turn on computer my corsair h105 cooler the fans are spinning extremely loud at 100% max & when I hit power button to shut down computer the computer refuses to shut down. It's like the computer is frozen . I hate to assume the worst. I assume the motherboard or he cpu i7 6700k is faulty
I uploaded a brief video so people can see exactly what the dilemma looks like.

Why is there no CPU cooler installed with you attempting to power up the system?

Id assume its over heating cause of the missing cooler.

do u have the Mobo Speaker installed?? i couldnt see it. anyhow, there is a setting for this in bios (or atleast My mobo has a setting for it) i keep it off, as i find that dumb beep annoying, and useless since the advent of Dr Debug. the other symptoms im not sure

my PC requires a prolonged hold to Power off too, and it works fine.. also Your smoke detector needs a new 9V battery

The computer refused to do post ,error code 00, even with the cpu cooler ,corasir h105, installed. Also the corasir h105 fans were spinning extremely fast louder than usual.

I'm wondering if you may have had a pump failure on the Corsair H105 which could explain the fans running at maximum. I'd suggest clearing the CMOS and try using a different CPU cooler if available.

Holy cow I'm shocked. So the culprit all along was the corsair H105 :( So is my corsair H105 defective now or will it be able to work properly again after electric pump failure?

If you bought it new, RMA it, there's not much you can do to fix it I'm Afraid.

If the pump is defective and it's still under warranty I guess it's time to RMA it.

How exactly does the electric pump fail? What caused this to happen? I bought this corsair h105 manufacturer refurbished by corsair. I can't comprehend how pump failed :(

00 is a corrupt bios on Asus, do a bios flash back(google is your friend). If your Z97 board then, let it power up(it will sit there nothing will happen)then while powered up hit the reset pins( it may or may not work)with a corrupt bios.....
