Chiphell has been mostly posting garbage using ES (engineering samples from last summer) and QS (Quality control samples from around August) chips that some of their members buy in the Chinese black market for such things. Those chips typically have much lower than stock clocks. So basically they are overclocking pre-production samples meant to aid OEMs in debugging their boards and to help with identifying defects in the CPUs.

Well, its FPU test which produces a lot of heat. And that chip silicon is probably trash. It runs 1.4v at 4.8ghz. I remember my 9900ks runs 1.35v at 5.3ghz.

Anybody that has used the stress FPU in AIDA 64 knows that it's a real and yet unrealistic number not likely to be encountered in real life. The stress CPU is the most reliable test of what one might encountered in real life.

Under load on CB-R20 only uses 1.163v on auto for 5.0 max vcore 1.27v on llc-5 all core of course max temp 69c fans barely running.

4.8 all-core sustained boost on stock settings (no manual OC) is kinda impressive. Temps and voltage doesn't seem right for a chip that has 2 less cores unless it's a crappy ES chip?

could be auto, if Asrock adopt old Asus strategy of using slightly more voltage or bus speed than over manufacturers to achieve greater results in reviews, but 4.80 GHz looks pathetic in this case

Now please try the Aida64 stresstest without AVX or AVX-512 enabled. This is ticked by default in Aida and makes the stresstest temperatures very unrealistic. I would like to see the temps without the option enabled.

AVX testing is a good thing to test
But just at 5.0 vcore is only 1.163v on auto under stress not 1.4v and I'm hitting on cpu package 71c
Max vcore is only 1.261v atm
I'll edit and add a screen shot in a minute of my 10900k readings same test.

Doubt the aida temps would be much different either R20 does hit cpu pretty good R23 too
