Unfortunately this high speed did not prove stable enough to complete the benchmarks I ran earlier, I had to drop the speed back to a more modest 3.2Ghz which was still 1400Mhz over stock speed!

Very possible, I've had 2 X 3500+ Venice cores and one was capable
of 3.1 and the other 3.2ghz on water cooling.

My buddy hit 3.6+ghz on 939 like last year or so. I think his was an opteron, but still.

OCing 939 has lost it's fun.

You guys need to stop ripping on him, I mean wtf man? Getting 1400MHz stable is still s bitchin fast OC, even though he didn't hit 100%. How many of you ran 100% stable?

i'm not ripping on him, i just don't think you should claim it as anything special unless it is actually usable(not that running a machine on dry ice is that usable anyway)

i dont think anyone is "ripping" but just making the point that its not stable like a lot of people have said lots of people have great overclocks the real still is making them work!!!

still yes booting in 100%oc is pritty mad i dont know what the record is for a 939 but i may be wrong but i dont think its passed 3.5

ok i was wrong there the highest was a fx55 at a massive 4083ghz!!!!! not bad, what i want to know if how much v-core are they putting into the chip as im scared to go past 1.65 and leave it at 1.55 @3ghz most of the time!!!! at 1.65 my sandy idle at 34 and max is 42 so i dont have a heat problem

for fun i just put 1.76 through mine, didnt make a difference mine stops going at 1.62v!!!

not too bad, but again with dry ice its a temp thingfun, but not long lasting. Phase is a much more fun affair 24/7 running and closed system meaning less risk.(like ln2 where you can kill yourself if not careful)

the 3000's were simply amazing most hit 50% oc on air nice, but due to the low mult didn't pass a stock fx 55 most of the time.

now its the e6300's that are the budget ocers, most can do 3.2 on air. lol
