ATi and NVidia Supported games.

Righty, so... some people may know about this uh... "input lag" a few people have had/have... like myself... :cry:

However, having an ATi Radeon 9800Pro Graphics card in my system, I've been having minor difficulties with some games with this input lag. (Ie. if I hold one button on the keyboard and move the mouse the function of the keyboard would remain for a short while longer/lag. The result would also take effect on the mouse as well...). Believe me, it's almost up there with getting slapped in your groin with your own dead dog. (Thanks to the Escapist for that one. :cool:

)

Anyway, this only has been occuring on several games that are directly supported by NVidia. Ie. F.E.A.R., UT3, SWAT4... (I'm sure all these are NVidia supported games). (I also like VSync.)

Only reason I would place this in Software, is... I reckon it's not a graphics card problem, but a softwear configuration misconfiguration. :wtf:

(Yeah, I know, not gramatically correct, but neither is your... nvm... :rolleyes:

)

Anyway, anyone like to shed a pint of light on this theory?

No problems with the not helpy, I'll eventually fix it, even if it takes getting a new computer or a reinstall of windows. :toast:

But...

They most certainly are, they're the greatest reviews I've heard/seen/watched/listened and would suggest anyone who enters this thread to go ahead and see them for yourself! :rockout:

My current fav's are the Tomb Raider Anniversaries and The Orange Box reviews. :laugh:

Well from his earliest work the Heavenly Swords demo one is just amazingly funny when he pulls out the "twing-twang" line. Also, the one on Bioshock cracked me up. Hell, I even enjoyed the one on Halo 3 and I love that game...

do you use atitool? i had this problem in oblivion and i traced it back to atitool.

It's NOT ATitool.
I've done everything to do with it, and I know it's definately NOT ATitool.

And it's not in Oblivion. There are plenty of games that it doesn't do it in, but there are also plenty of games it does do it in.

I doubt any of the Orange Box games would have it. (Just a feeling.)

But like I said, mainly the NVidia supported games have this problem...
