I just bought a "GIGABYTE HD5770 GV-R577UD-1GD" which I need to flash using a quiter firmware since the default fan settings are to loud
So I boot into clean dos 7.1 using USB and I get the following errors when trying to flash it:
'atiflash -i' gives: Adapter not found
    'atiflash -p 0 5770m.bin' gives: Adapter Error 0FL01

Don't take my advice straight away, but I thought -f was to force a flash, and that's what you should use.

WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO CHIME IN.
