I installed Atiltool 0.26 on my laptop BenQ JoyBook DH3000 with an integrated chip - Nvidia Geforce4 420 Go 32M (Geforce4 MX 420 with 32MB) with an ALi AGP.
I ran 'Find Max Core' overnight and what I found from the log was quite appalling. It was trying a core clock speed of 4768 before I stopped it !!? And, it even reported it as artifacts free !!
NVclock reports the max core clock speed as 289. I don't think there's any graphics chip that runs at 4000+ core speed !? Since, my laptop is working perfectly well, I don't know if Atitool really cranked the graphics chip to 4000+ !!
I thought of trying 0.24 and installed the same only, to learn that it doesn't recognize the graphics chip on my laptop.
I'd be happy to provide any other info you might need.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
