Basic question: just want to make sure my dynamic fan settings that I've set in ATITool still occur even if the program isn't open. I use EVEREST for temp reads, but ATITool is a great OC'er, and the fan settings are amazing.

Also, while I have you, is there a reason why when I opened ATITool last time (Explorer crashed, so I had to End Process it in order to even see the GUI again) my entire screen went to vertical lines and I had to restart? I assume something on my video card didn't agree with the fact that it was being told what to do, but I'm not sure. A restart fixed it, and everything seems to be okay now.

Yes, fan settings you set in ATItool are working even when prog isn't open. Easy chk, close ATItool & start game. You can hear when fan goes wild!:)

You'r wellcome.:) What version of ATItool are you running? With some older ones was having problems with fan control & just to be sure, when start on, first start AtItool for few secs, then close it. Better to be sure then to be sorry, right? Wellcome to TPU!
