Would this ATITool work with the FireGL V3400 PCI-E ? Or does it need the Catalyst drivers, or something?
It is the standard V3400, that looks just the same as the reference design X1600 PRO, and has similar hardware specs.
What I want to do is get this card running at the speeds of the physically identical looking V5200, which is more like a X1600 XT.
V3400
RV530 GPU
GPU frequency 500MHz
memory frequency 980MHz
128MB GDDR3 SDRAM
V5200
RV530 GPU
GPU frequency 587MHz
memory frequency 1,380MHz
256MB GDDR3 SDRAM
Obviously I can't change the amount of RAM, but if ATITool works with this card, would it be possible to get it running closer to the the V5200 specs without any additional cooling? The card has the reference design X1600 copper HSF. What about with better cooling?
Can I make this card go faster?
Cheers.
