From what I have gathered by reading this forums, with no prior knowledge/exp with computers to build a gaming computer for wolrd of warcraft game w/ a shallow budget;

I do not plan to overcloak (nor do I know how to). Instead of buying a pre-made I optioned to build one myself to save money, upgrade easier, gain experience with building systems and finally iddy bit of satisfaction by building it myself :)

that looks good to me but I know nothing about cpus really, or mobos, you might want to concider getting getting the 320gig seagate 7200.10 rpm 16mb hd its like 97usd at newegg, maybe buy a second one later if it goes on sale so you can backup all your stuff on it incase you have to reformat.

not bad but could be better, what is your budget?

go for the biostar in my opinion, and if not overclocking a 3800+ or a x24000+, also get some better memory and if in a tight budget only 2x512 ;)

yep, knowing a budget would help. you may not know how to overclock yet, but you will fast learn how to, and want to ;) or even if you dont, if you buy the parts that can be overclocked, in the future when your system is starting to show its age a bit, just crack in the overclocks and you gone and bought yourself maybe a year, maybe more, for free!

Looks good to me, just needs a keyboard, mouse, speakers, case, DVD-RW, OS, PSU, and monitor :p. Unless you plan on smushing together two systems to make the best one, in which case you're fine. I sure can't afford a system with those kinda specs.

I wouldn't get the refurbished M2N-E, there's a chance it was returned with good cause. Buy a new M2N-E if you can afford it or get the biostar. The last thing you want is a faulty motherboard, that's a pain to troubleshoot.

I say "specs like that" because 10K in 3Dmark05 is better then 7K :). Oh yes and thanks :D. Getting that score was pretty hard though, I had to OC the proccie to around 2.5 (it did NOT like overclocking on the memory I had it with), fool with timings, overvolt a little bit, and disable...just about every process that was running :p. Ironically my PSU, RAM, and mobo died right after getting that score. I'm not playing the "proccie OC game" for a long time .

My budget is about $1K (excluding a a keyboard, mouse, speakers, case, DVD-RW, OS, and monitor. In my understanding quality of beforemented universal products would not effect gaming speed/frames). I would love to L2Overcloak. I wasn't even aware M2N-E is refurbished, thx for pointing it out. I am missing a PSU and open two recommendations :)

o_O, Man with a budget like that your gonna want somthing alittle better.

E6300
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819115005
Foxconn P9657AA-8KS2H Socket T
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813186102

You see the E6300 will destroy a AMD X2 that isnt clock@2.6 and even at that it still matches up to it. The board will allow you to overclock alil in the future if you ever get interested.

But what Im really trying to recommend here is that you atleast get and Core 2 Duo. The price and quite reasonable and should last you a long long time. Just trying to help you use your money wisely.

The Graphics card your looking for is currently not in stock but if you dont wanna wait for a new card the 1950pro is a pretty decent card even though it does not perform as well. Check tigerdirect.com though they might have it.

Here is a nice review for the E6300 if your interested.

and to strick's tigerdirect post, newegg has the 4400+ 939 for 200$ OEM, and then you don't have a mATX mobo

I will bite the 4400+ 939 for 200$ OEM combo. Even though I don't mind paying 100$ more for E6300 if it's really worth it.

I dont mind waiting for the graphics card which I am looking for but is not in stock. Would 1950pro be a cheap alternative untill the new graphics card comes out?
