AVerMedia Technologies, Inc., a leader in digital video and audio, today introduced its brand-new line of SonicWave gaming audio solutions. The two headsets, the stereo SonicWave GH335 and the virtual 7.1 surround sound SonicWave GH337, have both been designed to give gamers a satisfying, immersive audio experience on PC, all current consoles and even mobile platforms. AVerMedia listened to gaming community feedback to ensure the SonicWave line measures up to the most demanding gaming audio needs.

Both headsets feature oversized 50mm neodymium drivers delivering powerful sound at a fraction of the weight of regular magnets. The stereo SonicWave GH335 features analog audio and microphone connections and its oversized drivers and closed back design help keep gamers focused on their gaming experience.

The SonicWave GH337 and its bundled AVerMedia Sound Engine software bring virtual 7.1 surround sound to the audio mix, giving gamers the tools needed to truly immerse themselves and easily pinpoint the location of their rivals. The GH337 also features LED lighting on its outer rims.

Both the GH335 and GH337 take full advantage of a rotating omnidirectional boom microphone. In addition, the GH337 has a strategically placed secondary microphone featuring the latest noise reduction technology, allowing gamers to communicate more easily and clearly with their teammates for a competitive advantage.

What isn't disposable though? I think they went with the 'gamer look'. Personally I care more about comfort than anything and giant earcups work great for me because of my earrings. Right now I use Cougar Phontums and I have yet to find something more comfortable but these appear to maybe use the same giant ear cups.

@Th3pwn3r a example of something well made, detailed, that was decently priced over stores, backed with excellent warranty, you see, also comes with 2 pair of ear cups, might be a little big for your, but my cousing use this ones because of me and he have expansion ear rings and 1 industrial piercing,

I have worn to the Kingston's and they're comfortable but not as comfortable as the Cougar Phontums I have. They probably sound much better though.
