It's a game about being a bee with more shapes and polygons and less optimization than any game from EA and Ubisoft combined. It has some of the most insane system requirements over any game I have seen and is a VERY resource intensive game.

My first thoughts were at the system requirements but quickly skimped over them. While interesting it wasn't worth getting bothered over.

Gameplay is a bit wonky as there is a delay to controls and has a "smooth delay" to them. Not very responsive but not jagged.

Your main goal is to fly around the grass and flowers as a normal bee would do, and land on one here and there. I found my bee in space somehow.

These are just my thoughts. Anyone else give it a try?

Also it crippled my 1080Ti with a 117% power limit. (1974mhz core clock) and used four threads on my 4790k. Don't bother with the ram because all you need is half a gig.

Crap performance, nuff said, and it doesn't even matter what rig you have, it just runs like a turd going uphill.

Asset flippers arent known to spend time and effort trying to optimise something they know people wont really play

I don't think it's a lack of optimization... I think the performance hit is inherent to the fact that they're rendering that bee with similar techniques that Furmark uses.... I mean look at the bee's "hair"... That looks exactly like the old CPU/GPU torture tests. The "furry doughnut" from ATItool back in the day. I think this is more of a tech demo, experiment, whatever. I wouldn't dog the creators for not "optimizing" when the point seems to be to make something inherently taxing. I don't know anything about the devs or why they did this, but there is really no other reason for them to do it that way.

Correct but then again Blizzard has some really, really strong dev teams and neverending QA. They'll most likely have revamped it completely and stripped every unnecessary component.
