my ocz ssd died on me today and somehow my storage drive has also "died?"

"info: the boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible."

now my issue is that i have another old hard drive that has windows xp on it, but when i plug it into my main pc it boots up but then bsod's yet works fine in my old system, i've tryed removing a ram stick but that doesn't help, i've tryed underclocking the memory to 800mhz and that doesn't help either

i can't even partion this current hard drive to stick another os onto it to test :s

Your old PC's hard drive is likely BSOD'ing on the new PC because of missing/unexpected drivers (due to hardware differences between the two PCs). That's to be expected.

Put the old hard drive back into the old PC. Have you tried accessing your SSD from your old PC?

old hard drive is currently in the old pc but i'm unable to to connect my newer hard drive + ssd, it just doesn't recognize that there is more than 1 drive connected

You don't need to connect both the SSD and the new storage hard drive at the same time. Right now, you're testing if the old PC can read them.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say your storage hard drive "died". Does that mean you can't read it on the new PC because the SSD (where the OS is stored) died? If that's true, then your old PC should be able to read the storage drive.

ssd is an ocz vertex 2

core i5 2500k with an msi mpower, 8gb ram, ssd was working perfect last night but today just didn't work

also i connected my ssd to my old pc, don't even think it was recognized (wasn't in boot options) and there's a red light which i assume means bad

my current storage drive is unreadable on all 3 of my pcs, "info: the boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible." is the error i get

Sounds like you might need to go into the bios and change the boot order

Maybe its a current thing, try to change molex or sata power connectors on your HDD. And also check ATA or SATA cables that u are using. :)

Check SATA mode between your old PC and new one. Likely the old one is on IDE and the new one is ACHI or RAID.
