Bad preformance after upgrade

I've upgraded my graphics card to the 1050ti and I am barely even getting 60 fps and having terrible stuttering when i play fortnite. In other games like csgo, the stuttering is not nearly as bad, but i have the same issue of barely reaching/staying above 60 fps. It has only became this unbearable recently and I'm very unsure why. I play on the lowest graphic settings in both games and have tried several resolutions on both games. I am looking for any suggestions/explanations that could help me, as I know very little about computer hardware and performance. Please help

1050Ti won't help if other components are suboptimal like cpu, memory and hdd so put all your specs and it will be easier for us to see what's the issue, and download this app for PC specs and upload photo of it.

yeah I agree with kastriot, for example when i bought this secondhand PC it had an A4-5300B APU, I had an A6-5400K laying around so I installed that, then i found an secondhand 1050ti and put that in to.

when gaming with A6-5400k, the apu it was always CPU bottle necked and a lot of games unplayable (only 1 module 2 core and not very good for much other than really basic PC stuff)

I found an A10-5800K (2 module 4 cores) on ebay (cheap) so bought and installed that, the difference was night and day in games, all my games became playable, not going to break any benchmark scores but never the less it worked fine.

even the A10-5800K is about 10-12% bottle neck for the 1050ti but its about the best GPU match I could find for this setup HP 6305-MT

It's possibly the CPU holding the GPU back a little...…... 4 years old 4 core base Kaveri model, 4 threads and a max boost of 3.8gig, however I don't play fortnight so unsure of the demands of the game.

1050TI is more than plenty for that game. Id guess you've just made the weakness of your other components more obvious.

Try setting everything back to stock (if you have any overclock or memory increase) & see if it helps

Benchmark Scores Turns on on the first try! Usually.
Try playing around with in game settings a bit, I know that CPU is not the best but it shouldn't stutter. Also, turn off game mode in windows, if it isn't already off and run the game in fullscreen if you aren't already.

try highest rezz settings and low game settings, then try high rezz settings and high game settings, chances are the CPU is not the best for some online games, my A10-5800k probs not much better but never tried it, not my type of game.

It turns out my old drivers were hindering my performance. I installed ddu or whatever and now im getting amazing fps with no stuttering
