"ATI AIB" ..... Long time not seeing ATi mentioned..

Look in task manager and you see ATI still today ;).

70C at the core, 93C at the hotspot? Not worrisome and perfectly within specs (maximum 109C), but a 6600XT should/could be some 5C cooler.
What AIB and model is your card? Also, how hot is ambient where you are?

Staring you both in the face.

Could he not possible lower the voltage without performance issue ?, might be worth while. Mine never go above 82c hotspot with a ambient of 28c and i am running a 6950 not a 6600.

Cards are invidual samples but just for pure example, my 6700 XT goes from stock 1200mV to 1075mV without issues, performs also better as the power limit doesn't trigger so easily. :)

Of all the games i played the highest i needed to set it was 11.25, but yeah you can cut so much heat by doing this.

Just takes some testing, but personally start at 11mV. But was not sure were the starting voltage was on the lower cards.

I ran hella many runs of Superposition myself to check the stability and results got better after every -10mV :)

1050mV is SOMEWHAT stable but better safe than sorry, so I use the 1075mV undervolt with that card.
